.My name is Alida Pretorius. I am the wife of Louw Pretorius, who is already joined here. A little background (which should overlap somewhat with hubby's entry email, of course :-)): We've been on a serious search for TRUTH after immigrating from South Africa to Australia and God impressed upon hubby's heart not to search for a job, He will take care of everything. It was emotionally a rocky road, being used to Mammon's support! We read, searched, prayed, watched videos, etc for about two years, being desperate for guidance and direction. We come from different denominational backgrounds, both being very sure of having the 'full truth'. We both prayed for each other for 'conversion' to our version of truth for ten years! Here in Australia - to a great extent isolated from people and becoming even more so as time passed - our desperation grew. Through a prophetic word of a lady we began reading online, God said that some of His children asked for information and He is going to send it and how we will know it is Him sending it, is that it would come through an 'improbable source'. Well, it did come and it was a 'very improbable source'. It was a link to the website of another prophetic lady. We had difficulty working through her writings, BUT somewhere along the line, she had a prayer written up, asking God what the story is about the writings of a man called Lorber. God answered her, saying that all through the ages He had called scribes to record His words, but it is every person's free choice to give attention to it or not. That got me going. I cannot stand 'secrets', we were desperate - and I love research, so we hunted down Lorber's books, which lead obviously to Mayerhofer, Swedenborg, etc. We downloaded EVERYTHING we could find, bought kindles and began reading. WE FOUND THE ANSWER! We found what we longed for - hubby and I are now together in truth and loosened from both our dogmatic backgrounds
