"[1] Also the disciple John asked Me if he, since there was still time for that, had to take notes of what has been said and of what had happened.
[2] I said: “Whatever Matthew wrote down is enough, because not everything is meant for the people, and still less for those human pigs, about which I was just talking. After Me you will surely have time enough to write down from the Spirit what you have heard and seen from Me. [3] Because in the distant future I will also awaken helpers and by the spirit in their heart I will dictate to them everything what has happened now and what has been taught since the time that I have began My mastership and made you as My first disciples, and also what will happen next and still a lot of other things. And since this will be possible to Me in the distant future, it will be all the more possible with you to dictate by the spirit of your heart everything which I consider necessary to write down. [4] However, in the beginning you should not keep yourselves too busy with writing, but more with speaking, so that the people can in the first place hear what it is all about.

"Say I: "Do not be concerned about this. After all it is the same with all that comes ever so pure from above, whether spiritual or material. As soon as it touches the ground of the earth, it becomes defiled and impure.
[11] This is what invariably happens to all spiritual gifts from the heavens. No matter how pure they may be in the beginning, as time goes by, they become as tarnished as all I have just shown you through the dirty worldly interests. [12] And the same fate also this My purest teaching will suffer; no iota of it will remain uncriticized and untouched. [13] They will destroy the temple which I am now building in the same way as the Romans will in the not too distant future destroy the temple at Jerusalem where no stone will remain upon the other. [14] This My temple I shall rebuild, but never the one at Jerusalem built of rock. However, do not trouble yourself about all this, for I know about it all and why it has to happen like this. [15] For behold, no man appreciates the light enough during the day or the heat during the summer; but as soon as it is night, the light becomes dear, and the heat is only appreciated in the cold of the winter. [16] So it is with the spiritual light and the spiritual warmth. Whoever walks about freely in the open is hardly aware of his freedom, but once he languishes tied up in prison, oh, then he knows what a great possession freedom is. [17] And look now, you My dearest Helena, the tarnishing of all that is pure is allowed because man will not recognize the value of the pure light until he is in the greatest distress. from "The Lord's Sermons" (through Gottfried Mayerhofer)
Sermon 5 Christmas Day The Birth of Jesus Luke II, 1-14: " And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Cesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, everyone into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." (December 25, 1871) This chapter deals with My birth, a day you celebrate each year on December 25th in accordance with the rites of the church. You are already familiar with the events at the time of My birth, but there are still many unclear points concerning this act of My first visible appearance on your earth, the deeper meaning of which, in its spiritual correspondence, is still unknown to you. Therefore, I shall make further revelations for your benefit, as well as that of My believing children of the future, to show you that even the smallest thing concerning Me and My coming to the earth is of the greatest significance and will repeat itself on My Second Coming to this small globe, the dwelling place of My children who will be great one day. As the conditions on earth once made it necessary for that particular people at that particular time to witness the great act of grace and love which I accomplished for you and all the spirit world, on My Second Visible Coming a time and place will again be chosen to suit My purpose best. from "The Lord's Sermons" (through Gottfried Mayerhofer)
Sermon 7 First Sunday After Epiphany The Twelve-Year-Old Jesus in the Temple Luke II, 42-50: " And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. And it came to pass, that after three days found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? Behold thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? Wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them." (December 26, 1871) This text is also taken from the Gospel of Luke and deals with the three days I stayed in the temple. What I did and taught there is already known to you, since some years ago I explained it to you in more detail . We shall, therefore, look at it only insofar as it will be repeated spiritually before My Second Coming and is, in fact, already in the process of repeating itself. What you can gain from this repetition shall be the conclusion of today's word. Behold, My children, I have told you repeatedly that each action at that time - from My birth to My resurrection and ascension - had a twofold, actually threefold, significance. What I then did and spoke was of importance not only for the Jewish people, but for all men of that and later times. It was also - reaching far beyond your earth - meant for My entire realm of spirits which followed My actions with curious eyes to see whether and how I would, as a human being, accomplish the mission I had set for Myself. Being clad completely in the human body of an earth-dweller, I had to fight all the passions of human nature in order to free Myself from this and, spiritualized, return once more to whence I had come. Like every child I had to improve My soul gradually, develop My concepts and opinions in order to adapt to My Spirit the soul I had breathed into Myself, so that at the end of My earthly career I could show My spirits how I brought back not only My own Spirit in all its magnitude, but also knew how to spiritualise My human soul. from "The Lord's Sermons" (through Gottfried Mayerhofer)
Sermon 32 Sixth Sunday After Trinity The Lord Feeds the 4000 St. Mark VIII, 1-9: "In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them, I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat: And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from afar. And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness? And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven. And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people. And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them. So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets. And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away." (April 7, 1872) This chapter deals with another feeding of the multitude gathered around Me, namely, four thousand people. In the end seven baskets with bread are left over, whilst at the start there were only seven loaves of bread and some fish available. Once before I worked a similar miracle, feeding five thousand people with five loaves of bread and two fishes, when twelve baskets with bread were left over. You already know the spiritual meaning of the five loaves and the two fishes. In this second instance, too, when instead of five thousand I fed only four thousand people with seven loaves of bread and some fish, whereby seven baskets full were left over -compared with twelve the first time, everything has its spiritual meaning, which I shall now explain to you. The twelve baskets of leftovers from the first miracle, denoted the twelve tribes of Israel as well as the twelve commandments which were to remain with men after I had gone. The seven baskets that were left the second time denote My seven main attributes which were to remain with men to strengthen them and serve as their guiding principle when they no longer had Me. These seven attributes are: Love, patience, meekness, forgiveness, perseverance, self-sacrifice and mercy. from "The Lord's Sermons" (through Gottfried Mayerhofer)
Sermon 53 Twenty-Seventh Sunday After Trinity The Latter Days Matthew XXIV, 15-28: "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: But for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together." May 4, 1872 This is the last Gospel I shall explain to you. It deals with the latter days of Judaism, also the final conditions among mankind and even the last events at the end of the visible world which, transformed and rising to higher levels, will commence a new cycle. I once predicted to My disciples the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem, the first act of the end of the Jews as a people. They had then lost their importance as a people and were no longer worthy of living together in a country of their own on this earth, after having endeavored to destroy the greatest kingdom that has ever existed, My everlasting Spiritual Kingdom. They had been chosen from the very beginning through their religion and their prophets to become that nation into the midst of which I could descend to the earth, but afterwards they proved themselves quite unsuited to embrace and spread My teaching. The light of truth was conveyed only to My disciples and a few elect of that nation. The others rejected it and preferred the darkness and sticking to the dead letter, a trait they have not got rid of to this day, although they are compelled to live dispersed among all the other nations. Sermon 18
Sunday Easter The Resurrection of the Lord St. Mark XVI, 1-8: "And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away, for it was very great. And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that He goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you. And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid." (February 19, 1872) "The previous Gospel text dealt with My entry into Jerusalem and the temple. This one describes My burial and resurrection, as well as My appearance to several of My disciples and Mary Magdalene. Between My entry into Jerusalem and My burial there is My condemnation, My immense suffering as a man and as God, My greatest humiliation as Creator and Lord of the world and the proof of My supreme love, a love of which only I, the uncreated, eternal God and Lord, am capable by submitting to all this in order to set an example to My created beings and spirits. They were to learn what is needed to become a child of Him Who is able to call into existence worlds, solar systems, and vast spirit-realms which He could again eradicate if His mighty will were not induced by His all-embracing love to preserve all created things instead of destroying them. [12] For truly, I (the Lord) say to you: happy are you, who are now hearing and seeing what all patriarchs and prophets have desired so fervently to see and to hear. But in those days it was not yet the time for it. In the spirit they can see and hear this now also and they are extremely glad about it, but it remained hidden for their flesh, and for the future generations it will also remain more or less hidden. Now it is for you however easy to believe and to act accordingly, because now you can witness with your ears and eyes all the things that were not seen by any human eye and not heard by any human ear. But in the future, all those will only become blessed who do not see and hear – like you can now – and will nevertheless believe and will act according to that belief. Therefore, it will also be accounted to them as a higher merit.” (GGJ Book 19, chap. 3)
"[1] Immediately Lazarus ordered new wine and said: “The great and the very exalted teaching which we have now heard from Your godly mouth must also be confirmed by a new wine and be sealed in our heart.”
[2] I said: “You are right about that, friend and brother Lazarus. All that which is good and true has its complete correspondence in bread and wine. Therefore, you can be assured that after Me when you moderately will be using bread and wine in remembrance of Me, that I will be in the spirit, as now in the body, personally among you My children, brothers and friends until the end of all times of this Earth. Surely, you will not always see Me with the eyes of your body, but then still, your heart will tell you: ‘Rejoice, for your Lord, God and Father is among you and is blessing the bread and wine for you. Therefore, be joyful and cheerful in His name, and remember by that the poor brothers and sisters, and more precisely the poor in spirit.’ [3] When your heart will give you such a stimulation, remember and belief always that I will be personally among you, and whatever you will then ask Me which is good and true for the life of your soul, I will always very willingly give it in a well understandable way. [4] Thus, those who will greet Me with great love in their heart will soon be able to convince themselves also with their eyes that I really am personally among them. And what I am saying and explaining here to all of you is also fully valid for all your true and faithful followers. But give Me the new wine now, for I have become thirsty.” “Mary had had the most miraculous experiences within a short space of time, quite inconceivable to her. She had given birth to a son without having known a man. She had become a mother without having experienced motherhood in its fullness; for normally a child is the link that joins the lives of a man and a woman, uniting them to a whole, to a family.Mary was a mother and did experience the joy of seeing her offspring before her, but it was more a feeling of pity for the little babe than a mother's bliss at pressing to her bosom the bond of her husband's love. Thus she did not and could not understand what took place at the conception, at the birth and later on. She acted only in accordance with higher guidance and was passive rather than active, following as a woman and mother only her emotions that bound her to her infant. Of course, this vague feeling, the doubts and suspicions, which she believed only she alone was carrying in her heart, grew when she heard others express similar and even greater things as she was taking the child into the temple. Through having the circumcision and sacrifices performed in accordance with the law, I was to be received as a child into the Jewish religion and brought up in it.
