The Franciscan stiffens in his Roman doctrine
Miklosch cures him with difficult questions. Now the ice breaks also in this rigid soul. Blissful astonishment at the celestial truths.
1. After a period of deepest astonishment, the count says to the Franciscan: “Friend, if this is how things are in your imagined hell, then I definitely stay there, and probably also brother Miklosch with all the others. Yonder infernal spirits of both sexes also look staggeringly beautiful. Verily, one ought not to find it too hard to put up with such infernal company indefinitely! Aye, friend, what do you say!”
2. Says the Franciscan, sullenly: “Endlessly many have already perished through such infernal sweetness, and such fate shall overtake you all! I am certainly very hungry and especially thirsty but, like Thomas, I don’t trust such kings’ peace until I have tangible proof of all these things. Because God the Lord is not going to dwell with heretics like Robert Blum and his gang!”
3. Says Miklosch: “Friend, come over to that there big window with me; I’ll show you something.” Says the Franciscan: “What is it?” Says Miklosch: “You’ll see!” Says the Franciscan: “Good, let’s go! But don’t deceive me, or …!”
Have Peter founded the Roman church!
 What would the Augustine want to tell us and what shall he let us see? Nothing but what is important to us. We are with him; listen therefore what he shall tell us and how he receives us. His words sound as follows:
 Be a thousand times welcome, dear friends and brothers, in the name of the mysterious trinity, in the name of the blessed virgin Mary, of the holy Joseph and of the patron of our church, the holy Augustine, who was a true apostle and follower of our Master Jesus Christ! May I, being your subject servant, ask you which pious purpose have brought you to this God-alone approved temple? Have you perhaps come here out of my order, being new arrivals, or have you perhaps come here as pious spiritual penitents for the waiving of the daily sins to escape purgatory? Are you maybe in search of the eternal rest and the eternal light, or the true spiritual living bread of the angels? Or do you wish to finally even be initiated into the higher mysteries of the trinity? To be short: whether it be one or the other which brought you here, you shall find sufficient satisfaction here for both the one or the other. For you shall very well know that there are no salvation or blessedness to be found outside of this church.
 When Christ the Master has founded His church, He gave the keys to the heavenly kingdom to Peter alone. Our church is built upon the rock of Peter, is thus founded by Peter and by him has she been granted the power for times of all times, to save or to doom. You shall know that Christ has given the church the right to doom through the texts: “You shall sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” There is also written: “and whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever you shall lose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Once again it has been written: “Receive the Holy Ghost: Whosoever sins you remit, they are remitted unto them, and whosoever sins you retain, they are retained.” There are even more such texts in which the Master have given all power to Peter over humans. It can therefore not be doubted in the least that the Roman Catholic Church, founded by Peter himself, is the only sanctifying church according to the unchangeable counsel of God.

 Now I say: Listen, my dear friend, your extraordinarily ruthless exorcism certainly has no ecclesiastical power; For as you see, we all stand, your three subterranean devils, still uninjured and completely unhurt in front of you. You can be assured in advance that we will not flee from your whole convent, a thousand crucifixes, and a hundred water buckets of holy water. For as long as we do not know the true reason on your part, as evidenced by the Scriptures, that your church is founded by Peter, we shall not be moved from here. On the contrary, we are now very much inclined to penetrate deeper into your monastery, and not to be deterred by any exorcist violence. To this end, I urge you to serve us and lead us into the chambers of your equally nonsensical brethren, as you yourself are one among them.
 The monk speaks while making three crosses before him: God help me! I have often heard that the temptations of the devil in the spiritual world are a thousand-fold worse than in the natural world and that in the spiritual world one really gets a true idea of the great violence of the devil. What I have read about it in the sacred books, written by pious and godly men, is now literally in front of me! But I tell you, you eternally abominable devil, you persistent deceiver of God and all humans, do you think God is deceiving himself? You're wrong! But as little as God can be deceived, I cannot be deceived by you as an ever-faithful servant of God, and rather than surrender to you, I will resist you with the aid of God and with the help of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, until your patience in fighting with me shall fail you. Therefore, you can do what you want; You will not make me forsake my church!
 Have you not heard what the Church requires according to the authority given to her by Christ, that one must absolutely believe what she prescribes one to believe, without asking whether it is written or not written, which is also a most reasonable demand of the Church? For if the church is in possession of the Holy Spirit, and He speaks through the church, who would not believe Him if he is a sincere and true Christian? But if one were to enquire after all the principles of the Church as you do, then you should also ask, "Where then was that written what Moses and the prophets had said of God? Behold, you filthy devil, what they have said, went out from the Holy Spirit, and therefore it is and remains an eternal truth.
"Where the confession of sins to a priest that you touched on is concerned, it is bad and should be condemned in its present form, for it does not reform men but merely makes them persist in their sins to the end of their lives. Yet again I also am not saying anything against a person who is weak and sick of soul faithfully confessing his weaknesses and faults, so that a man who is sound and strong in the light can then, out of pure love for a fellow man, easily provide him with the true means that will help the weak man's soul to grow strong and a. In this way, one man can become another's true saviour of soul. Yet I also do not make this a law, but merely give you good advice; and whatever I do, you shall do as well, and teach the truth to everyone." (GGJ VIII 43, 4)
„The best way of achieving remission of sins is no longer to commit the sins, and truly to repent of those committed in the past, to give alms to the poor for this, and forgive all one's enemies from the heart and pray for them in the spirit and in truth. For when a man repents of his sins, I, too, repent of having to punish him for them. Alms will in any way cover the greatest multitude of sins. And who forgives shall also be forgiven, and if his sins were as the sand of the sea and the grass on the ground. Those then are the only ways in which any sinner can achieve forgiveness of sins without any need for confession, and there are no others." (Himmelsgaben II p. 321 f.)
“Hence be very good and nice to her (mother Mary), but beware of according her any divine adoration.
For, notwithstanding all her very best qualities, she is still a woman; and the gap from the best woman to vanity is only very narrow.
And any kind of vanity is a seed of pride from which has come, is still coming and will always be coming all evil into the world. Therefore, keep in mind what I have now told you also where the mother is concerned.” (The Lord about Mary, His mother in GGJ vol.1, 108:12-14)
"Say I: "Do not be concerned about this. After all it is the same with all that comes ever so pure from above, whether spiritual or material. As soon as it touches the ground of the earth, it becomes defiled and impure.
 This is what invariably happens to all spiritual gifts from the heavens. No matter how pure they may be in the beginning, as time goes by, they become as tarnished as all I have just shown you through the dirty worldly interests.
 And the same fate also this My purest teaching will suffer; no iota of it will remain uncriticized and untouched.
 They will destroy the temple which I am now building in the same way as the Romans will in the not too distant future destroy the temple at Jerusalem where no stone will remain upon the other.
 This My temple I shall rebuild, but never the one at Jerusalem built of rock. However, do not trouble yourself about all this, for I know about it all and why it has to happen like this.
 For behold, no man appreciates the light enough during the day or the heat during the summer; but as soon as it is night, the light becomes dear, and the heat is only appreciated in the cold of the winter.
 So it is with the spiritual light and the spiritual warmth. Whoever walks about freely in the open is hardly aware of his freedom, but once he languishes tied up in prison, oh, then he knows what a great possession freedom is.
 And look now, you My dearest Helena, the tarnishing of all that is pure is allowed because man will not recognize the value of the pure light until he is in the greatest distress.

Several years after the death of Jakob Lorber, Gottfried Mayerhofer, who lived in Trieste, received valuable additional dictation from the Lord. The following text deals with part of the Apocalypse and deals with the coded language which John used.
Why such a coded language? The Lord has a very simple and convincing reason: “Had I as God of Love caused the entire process of development up to this day to be written in a language common to you, the words would have died away and nobody would have cared for their spiritual meaning.”
[The Lord Jesus:] “This Revelation of John or – I prefer to say - this picture of manners for the entire period, which came over your earth after My transition into the domain of the spirits (until now and My return) - this revelation has been explained, explored and set forth by many a person who presumed to be learned, but so far no one has found the right key to open up the chapters of this Holy Word, nor to judge correctly the happenings and periods, all of which had to happen after My ascent, as long as man, a free being, was lord over his own actions.
Now, that we have almost reached the fulfillment of the entire prophecy and most of it is already over, I will explain to you this Revelation step by step in order that you may be able to judge for yourselves how far all of them were away from the real meaning by attempting to find out the literal sense of what can be expressed only by correspondence.
As long as man does not comprehend the interpretation or the spiritual meaning of words (called correspondence), it is useless to attempt the grasping My Words in their innermost sense.

"When someone believes in the help and guidance of certain guardian spirits and angels, he is like one who well knows the monarch - that he is exceedingly good - but out of fear that perhaps the monarch may not like it if he himself were to bother him with his supposed clumsiness, therefore he makes a bond with other guardian and helping beings and, in the end, believes, in all earnest, that these (alone) have helped or protected him from dangers, when only the monarch - as the chief builder - has imparted his help and protection to the weak believer for which the weak believer has called.
Think for once rightly within yourself! You know that all people and all spirits and angels are nothing else than by-Me-carried thoughts who, at all times, have their life and their all out of Me and, certainly, everyone as much as it accords with My eternal order, as it is precisely most goal-fitting for him. But when one comes to the other and says to him: "Help me in this or that!" and when the other then wants to help the one who called, as if out of himself, is that not exactly like when a blind one would like to lead and a dead one to breathe life into the other, or a very sad one to comfort the other very sad one?
I say to you: Each human being, spirit and angel has enough (to do) if he stands for himself and has not an atom more, so that he could stand for another, out of himself.
But whoever comes to Me, with whatever need and closes a living bond of faith around Me, the sole Living One, how should it not happen to him, since he united himself through a living faith?
There is, upon the way of pure truth, only one true guardian spirit - and this one is I Myself!
All other "guardian spirits" arise from a weak faith, called forth through a gain-seeking establishment of the outer church.
Sunday, 26th April, 1848
"To a question:
See, your whole duty is, was, and will be eternally, - love, that is, a pure, divine love in you to Me and, in the same way, also to all your brothers and sisters.
According to the degree of this, My love in you, will be given to you, from Me, since I - in My whole Being - am love Itself. You are, if you love Me with all your strength, all beloved children of My love -which has also fructified Mary, the mother of My physical being. But this physical being is also a true brother to you and strong enough to carry you, as little brothers and sister, with all patience and tenderness and to lead you, as grown up brothers and sisters. And whoever wants to (get) to the Father, let him turn only to Me, as the Father's greatly beloved who is the only true Brother to you, full of the highest love and wisdom. And thus you have no need to turn to any other than exclusively to Me in all your entreaties and needs.
See, the greeting to Mary came (at the time of the Annunciation) from the most exalted height of the holiness of God, in all the fullness of the power and might of His Spirit, so that the love in the Father became a true Brother to you! - No, ask yourselves, what you still have to do with this greeting now? Mary does not need it, neither does she thirst for it. And she knows better than any of you that My ear is sharper than hers and My eye brighter, also that My love, My meekness and tenderness is not to be compared with the love, meekness and tenderness of all, even the most blessed spirits of heaven.

"(A Jesuit steps forward and says): "Noble friend, you do not appear to think much of arts and sciences, considering your dislike of the worthy Ladies of the Sacred Heart. They are the only female order that indulges in sciences and arts from early morning till late at night, and, consequently, they come closest to our order of the Society of Jesus. Dear brother and friend, you should really treat these ladies with more respect and love."
(Bishop Martin): "Why should I treat those silly, conceited females with more respect? I have shown them too much respect already! Actually, they should be sent packing for another million years until they forget their foreign languages, which might do them a lot of good.
As I look at them now, I see rage and arrogance in their eyes. They would very much like to dissemble, but that is impossible in the spirit world, and especially such loose spirits are soon seen through and recognized for what they really are. Because I do see through them and find their great folly sickening, I sent them to that distant corner to get rid of their annoying sight.
You yourself, and all the others of your silly order, should not take pride in your most unsuitable name. Think it over and tell me what gives you the right to call yourselves Jesuits? Who has given you permission to desecrate that divine name?
