Now that mankind has matured and, instead of eliminating only some things from the present religious structure, is inclined to overthrow the whole edifice with all its inmates, the time has come when the plain truth will no longer be detrimental to the majority and could only have a fortifying effect. Now the blind at the great highway to My Spiritual Kingdom are able to receive the light that has already for a long time been streaming upon them in great abundance. Now the time has come when the great edifice of clerical control - as once the walls of Jericho - will come tumbling down through the flourish of trumpets of My divine teaching, so that the blind waiting behind these walls may gain an unobstructed view over the valley of the Jordan, in whose waters I once had Myself baptized and where the voice from the heavens called: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!"
Thus you, too, shall now be baptized through My Word and My Light from the eternal source of the inexhaustible flow of My grace and begin to see, so that I can say: You are My children, in whom I am well pleased. You are the ones who, baptized with My Spirit and gifted with spiritual vision, will have to pass to the blind calling to you from the roadside of life the light which I have been giving you in great abundance already for a long time.
Prepare yourselves to become worthy pupils of the carpenter's son, of the teacher and redeemer on the cross and of the God and Father Who has engraved His two commandments of love with brightly shining letters into all creation, throughout its vast expanses.
Prepare yourselves to spread light where the blind implore you for it so that they, too, may share in the grace, that they may, through direct communication, learn in the shortest possible way what others have often recognized only very late, after much effort and many tribulations, that I – the Lord and Creator of all that exists - am also the Father Who never denies anything to a supplicant if it is for his good, and Who is most willing to open the eyes of the blind that he may recognize and appreciate his Father in the simplicity of Jesus and the glory of the Creator. Amen. (The Lord’s Sermons, chap. 12)
The Word of the Father was received trough O.R.L. on May 30, 1892, and printed as:
Foreword to ‘The Twelve Hours’ of the 1895 German edition.
Presently you still live in the time of the living flow of My Spirit in your sphere; the time has not yet come, during which My servant will have heard and written down from Me, would be subjected to an after-examination, as to what is true, untrue, and what is only coloured. As has been told you already, when you offered yourself, to remove the by you-noticed and possibly other mistakes in the Great Gospel [of John], [I repeat here:] take your hands off from such small appearances.
First of all, such mistakes are minor and pertain not to spiritual, but only material things,- secondly, I directly allow such mistakes, namely here and there for long segments, that they become coloured through the agitated spirit of the writer, so that no faith-in-the-letter forms among you!
Be free spirits! Seek! Moreover, practice on yourself—to become free—through the searching in My writings [and their practice].
Do not look upon the mistakes, but upon the remaining hidden inner deep meaning, of which there remains still endlessly much hidden in you, as much as you like to search. –
The Twelve Hours [no. 22] are almost, for all intents and purposes, coloured through the agitation of the writer. Only at the end does My calmness fully break through.
Do not change anything in it. Nothing is “scandalous” to him, who clings close to God, for He understands everything earthly! –
Blessed he who believes it and is not offended at it! Whoever reads it,
full of faith in his heart, shall receive much blessing.
Amen. I, The Lord, say this.
AMEN. AMEN. AMEN. (3 days in the Temple, final)
Now you have an idea about the life in the great spirit-world, which I wanted to give you on the occasion of this event from the Gospel. It is most important that you not only know what you see but little by little also learn to understand what there is beyond the visible world, has given the latter its character and represents the by far greater and more important part of My Kingdom.
Spirit am I, spirits are you, and even matter will once become spiritual. To recognize in this light the great cycle in all its levels, to survey it and establish your own position in it, is the task which - was given you. To help you achieve this, I employ every possible means to make the inevitable road easier and shorter for you in order that you may overcome already here the greater and most difficult part, so that over there you will have to conquer only fewer and easier things. (The Lord’s Sermons, chap. 15)
"Your brother M. asked you for an answer on behalf of one of his friends who, only endowed with the light of reason, tries to explain the entire creation, including its “Why” and “What”. Having repudiated the life of emotions or of the heart, or the inner spiritual life, he is thus unable to arrive at some satisfactory answer to all his searching and musing.
Well. I will try to offer the suitable foods and palliatives to a soul that, though hungry and thirsty, does not know as yet which food or which drink could really appease its hunger and thirst. Whether this soul will accept them and how it will spiritually digest them, we shall see in the following.
Your brother M. perceives quite well that human suppositions are inadequate to bring true solace and peace to his friend. For it could only be a system pieced together from rational arguments and opposed to another one where after all, seen from My viewpoint, one has as little solidity and firmness as the other. Therefore, he turned to Me with the most loving request that also this friend might be given the tranquility and peace he himself enjoys in such rich measure through reading and complying with My (new) Word.
So I will try, like the mother who offers her breast to her newly born child. to offer also to him, an erring but not evil soul, the first spiritual food. Newly born children also often refuse the mother’s breast. Now we will see how your friend will like this new food which, moreover, comes from hands quite unknown to him.

"Since you have read yesterday these three words in a spiritistic book (Adelma, “Book of Contemplation”, Vienna 1857), which you cannot dismiss from your memory, upon your request I too will give you some words on these three important qualities that are very necessary, particularly for you, and also for your whole company. For also they are lacking in faith, even more in trust, and there is hardly any confidence. So listen:
Faith, this beautiful and noble word which expresses that man, or his spiritual being, surrenders totally to that which he has grasped as truth and, basing his future actions on it, derives his peace from, and founds his future happiness on, the same, how few have it and even if it occurs with individual people, how minute its dose is!
Faith, as I have only recently said in My words to your doubting friend, is the fundamental basis of everything. In the absence of faith, there is nothing that has to be spiritually substantiated. Faith, together with the infant’s first comprehension, is the first bond binding it to its mother and to the world. What the mother trustingly lays into the heart of the child, that is, of its awakening spirit, it accepts faithfully. It is convinced that its mother tells it only the truth; it has arrived at this firm conviction, achieved through spiritual and physical bonds, as the only one binding it to the mother and the surrounding world. The faith in these first imprinted truths is often so lasting and, if pure and sincere, so strong that even in his last days on earth, man does not forget the effect the first impressed precepts of his early years, coming from his mother, which he accepted, childlike, in their entirety, preserving them as the first spiritual treasures in his heart.
30. And behold, all that which Adam possessed as a gift will I give all of you as a permanent gift and countless more and endlessly greater treasures, that is, Myself. And all that is Mine shall be yours too if you love Me, and nothing but love Me!
31. But where is your love for which I paid such a high price and which I would like to call Mine forever? Oh, there is not much of it left on earth! It is so easy and so gentle, but you do not want it and do not seek it where it is waiting for you and reject the high prize it holds." (The Householf of God, chp. 11)
Chapter 12 THE PROMISE OF THE LORD
"1. Oh, you children of Adam, why would you not rather become My children? How much effort and hard work it costs you to obtain the bread of Adam which drips from the sweat of your hands and is soiled by the drivel of serpents and soaked by the poison of adders and through which you in your immoderation eat yourselves into temporal and then also eternal death!
2. And My bread is spread with the honey of My love and soaked in the milk of the forever tree life out of Me. You could eat it with the greatest enjoyment and it would never harm you, but instead strengthen you and endow you with all the might and power out of Me for all eternity and already temporally, if you would only accept it. Behold, soon after My greatest act, which is the great work of salvation for you, the price for this My bread was still very high and people could buy it only in small quantities and that only through the sacrifice of their blood and physical life for Me.
"None of you have as yet understood why I uncover and explain to you all the depths of My creation, all the innermost aspects of My divine self. Behold, My dear ones, the reason for all this is, to instill into you the very thing lacking in all of you, meaning, the trust in Me. For when together with Me you traverse the immeasurable spaces of My infinity, when I open up to you My spiritual heavens, giving you an inkling of what is there being kept and prepared for you; when I reveal to you My own self, which is nothing but love and in return wants only love; when I prove to you down to the smallest atoms that I, the Creator and Father, sustain everything with the same love, I only want to prove to you that a Being possessed of this might and strength, as which I am showing Myself to you, should surely be worthy of trust and that, compared to My omniscience and omnipotence, all your activity and behavior must be considered as below the level of Zero.
Ponder these few words; they are very important, like everything flowing from My mouth. Enter deeply into the meaning of that which all of you were given, and you will not only find consolation and peace but, and this is the main thing, you will more and more realize your own standpoint and then, consolidating what is unstable, be able to draw closer to Me.
